Power refuses to let me speak to finance, to a manager or to provide a refund for time lose, waiting for the correct window. We can not get “ Warranty Work” done in a timely manner. The quality of workmanship was poorly installed.

I got 13 windows + 1 backdoor installed by Power Home Remodeling for $21k. The sell guy did his calculations on a paper $15k for windows and $6k for the door. When I ask him to give me that paper with all numbers on it, he refused, and told me he would give me the formal document after I signed all documents.

Put in some DIY work such as replacing the doors, painting the wall and cabinets, resurfacing the old flooring, or demolition work. Removing a wall costs $500 to $10,000, depending on if it's a load-bearing wall. Dry rooms cost $10 to $25 per square foot to remodel. Rehabbing is a term used interchangeably with remodeling and renovating. The extent of the remodel, location, and choice of materials affect the total cost. We’re the nation’s largest full-service exterior home remodeler and have received over 900 lifetime Angi Super Service Awards.

The windows and siding look beautiful; however I have had major issues with the French Doors since the install 18 months ago. Power Home Remodeling has been out to look at the French Doors 7 times since then, they have... I asked her for the CEO email address it won’t provide to me they’ll keep giving me the local office and the local office is not doing anything but keep appointments for me and they do nothing. I was wanting to get some more doors from them but the way I’ll be in treat never. I just want my windows fix my door scratches repaired or some money back inconvenient. Power does not commit to their appointed time and day to come and install my window.
Power Home Remodeling Reviews
Well 4 days after installing of new roof my dormers are leaking. Leaked into the brand new room I had just finished. Now I’m playing phone tag with their managers to get them to pay for the damages . Keep in mind my roof had not been leaking until they touched it .
Do yourself a favor and look at a hood local company. Power is too big of a company with too many people to be able to handle your project personally, especially when something goes wrong. Just bring me my window and I will have a competent installer put your faulty windows in. Still waiting for repairs on my other brand new windows to be done. The top vinyl panel on the front of the house became "disconnected" from it's upper channel and bulged out during the last week of May, 2022 while we were on vacation.
Consumer Ratings for Power Home Remodeling
The inspector took the detailed measurements so that we could get the whole house complete by years end. He also set up 0% financing for us for 3 years so that we could devote other funds to projects we have been planning. My wife and I are extremely satisfied with PHR and would recommend them for any projects they can do. We are expecting to need a new roof in a few years and plan to call them again then. Power remodeling did a great job, replacing all damaged plywood, had the roof put on in one day.
When we called to get it repaired they gave us a date that was 3 weeks out, and then they called us back to cancel and reschedule at an even later date. This appointment date was changed due to negligence in their scheduling. For the Premium price we paid for our windows, the quality of materials/installation is not up to standards. This is the 2nd time we have had to call them out to repair the same window. The install manager had no sense of urgency for our problem, nor did it seem like he was trying to resolve the problem.
I called Power's warranty line during the first week of June, 2022 and was told this problem would be taken care of in November, 2022. I called again requesting this repair be re-scheduled earlier but was told November, 2022. On October 1, 2022 the winds from tropical storm INA, pulled the vinyl panel out of the channels that was holding it near the house and it is now flappping madly in the wind.
Allow 1-month extra for planning, unexpected issues, permits, and custom orders. Minor remodels and cosmetic upgrades take 1 week to 2 months. The average cost of renovating a 100-year-old home is $100,000 to $250,000 or between $100 and $200 per square foot. Prices depend on it's historical value and the electrical, plumbing and HVAC updates needed to meet code requirements. Heritage landmark buildings cost up to $400 per square foot to remodel. Electrician hourly rates are $40 to $100 per hour on average, plus a $75 call-out charge.
He explained how this company has paired with Sam’s, once again putting my mind of these. He was patient as he showed me all of the different financial options in regards to financing, one time payments, and the different options that would allow further discounts. He was polite and courteous as well as enthusiastic about the company itself.
Salesman Tyler measured for 5 windows only put four on the order, so only the four were installed. Would NOT have paid that much money for just four windows. Tyler lied, scammed and never came back to check the windows out because he knows he screwed up and he should be man enough to admit his errors. Called the company to rectify the problem and never got a call back from Tyler or anyone else.
She was able to save me over $3000 for the back door installation. I do not have one complaint about this company, their staff, or their products. Completely renovating a 3-bedroom house takes 2 to 8 months on average, depending on the size and amount of structural changes.
