The average home remodel costs $30,000 to $120,000 for an entire house, depending on the square footage, quality of materials, and what areas are renovated. Most remodeling projects add resale value and provide a 50% to 85% return on investment. Contractors often end up gutting all the walls, repairing the foundation and structural damages, and replacing the subflooring. Completely remodeling a 3-bedroom house costs $20,000 to $100,000 or between $15 to $60 per square foot on average. Remodeling a kitchen costs $25,000 on average, and a bathroom renovation runs $10,000. A total gut to the studs and remodel costs $100,000 to $200,000.

A small kitchen renovation costs $5,000 to $20,000 while mid to high-end remodels range from $30,000 to $80,000 and up. The saleswoman who initially quoted my windows sold me on a window that wasn't something they offered.

I truly feel that once I was a paid customer I didn’t matter. I spent over $25k…paid in full…installing all of these windows in my home. Many of the windows have lost their seal and look terrible.

Cost to update a bathroom
She was able to save me over $3000 for the back door installation. I do not have one complaint about this company, their staff, or their products. Completely renovating a 3-bedroom house takes 2 to 8 months on average, depending on the size and amount of structural changes.

The broken window was scheduled to be fixed in May. When the date came, the window was not available. Funds were collected for the unfinished project. A complaint was put in with the Better Business Bureau.

The cost to rewire a house completely is $3,500 to $8,000, depending on the home's size and accessibility. Installing a new electrical panel runs $1,200 to $2,500. Remodeling labor rates are $20 to $200+ per hour, depending on the service and their expertise. A general contractor will hire and manage subcontractors and coordinate the project for 10% to 15% of the total cost.
Do yourself a favor and look at a hood local company. Power is too big of a company with too many people to be able to handle your project personally, especially when something goes wrong. Just bring me my window and I will have a competent installer put your faulty windows in. Still waiting for repairs on my other brand new windows to be done. The top vinyl panel on the front of the house became "disconnected" from it's upper channel and bulged out during the last week of May, 2022 while we were on vacation.

AND the quality of the WORK is just as critical. Actual remodeling costs vary by up to 40 percent more than the national average prices depending on the city. However, preceding this, the sales & quality assurance people were very thorough & gracious. The dumpster and all materials for the roofing project were delivered the day before the work was scheduled. Power provided high quality 1/2 inch plywood sheathing. The six person crew stripped off the old roof, resheathed it, and completed a quality shingling job in one day (~8AM - ~6PM) completing the work in the dark.
I've wasted days of my summer at home expecting their crew to come to my house, and I've had to call in everytime for a new excuse why they didn't come. Project managers never know where crews are and never call back within an hour of my initial call to update me if a crew is still coming or not. I have to continuously call back in time and time again to figure out what's happening.

The average kitchen remodel costs $100 to $250 per square foot, depending on the size and quality of materials.
The windows are top notch but the experience of getting them was not so nice. In their 4 hour sales pitch they talked so much about their customer service and how they leave the house in a safe condition for pets and children. But, the people that installed my windows seemed to be rushing because it was sprinkling and I was picking up glass off my floors and from around my house for the next month. I still find glass and it's been over 2 months at this point. They forgot to mention until the last thing of the day that they had broken a pane on the way and I'd have to wait 3 more weeks for the job to be finished.
